What is the Sculptra® Treatment Like?
The Sculptra® treatment is administered via injection into and around the desired treatment area. This is a tolerable process, but we offer a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. After the injections are performed, your treatment is complete. A single Sculptra® session takes less than 30 minutes, which is why it and other injectable treatments have earned the title of “lunchtime” treatments.
What Can I Expect After My Sculptra® Treatment?
After your Sculptra® treatment, you may notice some swelling, redness, or sensitivity in the treatment area. These effects are common, and usually fade within a day or two. The Sculptra® formula may not produce results instantly, as it takes time for the body to produce collagen and for these effects to be noticeable. Most patients begin to notice results within the first month or two, although a series of treatments are often needed for optimal results. There is no downtime after Sculptra®, so you will be able to return to work and other activities immediately.
